There’s a new skatepark in the Draper area of Utah. Binary Skate Park. I haven’t done much skating for the last year, having been so busy with my web design firm, but I’ve been there twice in the past two weeks trying to get my skating muscles back and it’s a pretty nice park.
Binary is also a skateboard company making decks and wheels, and I’m guessing probably some other products. They don’t have a real website yet, but they’ve got a holding page up at http://www.binaryskateboards.net. I’ve been talking with Sean a little lately and I’m hoping I can do a little website for them as trade so that I can skate for free. I could probably do a website for someone else in less time and then just pay the money to Binary, but I hate paying to skate. I’d rather just know that I can go and skate whenever I want to. Plus it would be sort of fun to do a website for a skate company.

Some updates since I first posted this:
1. MWI is officially working on a new website for Binary Skateboards.
2. I’ve been skating the park every week and it’s great. Come on a sunny day and no one will be there. It’s great. I got back tails on the mini-ramp last Saturday and didn’t have to fight snakes in order to have a good time.
3. Their website url is not functional yet. Give it a few weeks.
4. Binary is a skateboard company with a skate park, not a skate park that happens to make some shop decks.
