If you don’t like large corporate skateboard companies, then read Flip Skateboards Dissected, an interview of Flip founder and owner Jeremy Fox.
It’s refreshing to hear from someone who is obviously in touch with the industry and who is willing to offer their frank opinion.
“We don’t work for the mainstream, we take advantage of the mainstream.” is one of my favorite quotes from the interview. It pretty much explains Sublimited’s philosophy. Sublimited is for skateboarders, but we don’t mind if 90% of our customers end up being non-skaters, because their money will allow us to do good things for skateboarding that we couldn’t do otherwise. But rather than this being a forced redistribution of funds, such as what the government does, this is all voluntary and happy.

Hey I was skating & my rasta flip wheels split apart that sucks
I love flip stuff and bought some red yellow & green 52mm skatewheels & went skating on my friends quarter pipe & all of a sudden my wheel came apart. The red from the yellow& green and I only skated on them like 2 months and I was disappointed because flip is one of my fav brands. plus I worked my butt off to pay for those wheels. So now i’m wheeless and bored except for school theres nothing to do. Help me out i’m a girlteen skater w/o wheels!
Go buy some blank wheels at http://www.myblankskateboarddeck.com.
