I just got a Fallen Cobra hoody yesterday. After all, it was raining outside and all I had worn to the skate shop was a t-shirt, and I wasn’t looking forward to going outside again without some more protection, plus I like Fallen, so there you go.
product reviews
If I try a product I just might review it here. Attention skateshop owners!!! Do you have an online store? Want to double your sales? I can use this section to do just that. If you want to know more than contact me.
Fallen Cobra 2 Hoody
I’m not much of one for toys, but I’m excited about this one. I’ve been a fan of Andy Jenkins’ artwork, in particular his Lettus Bee comic strips, for about…geez, 15, 16, 17 years? All I know is it was a long time ago when I was a little tyke just starting out on a skateboard. Well, if you like…
Transworld’s January 2006 issue seems to have a slightly different format and design going on.
I’ve been riding decks flowed to me by Brock and Sean over at Mothership Distribution for the past year or so now. The more I ride them, the more I worry about how the deck companies sponsoring pros are going to get along, because the quality of the blank products I’m getting from Mothership is pretty high, as good as or…

Is this a product? Sort of, even though you can touch or hold it. Well, whatever. Half of the posts on here are hard to categorize, but we do our best.
Now go check out www.workedmagazine.com. I had heard of this magazine, but I didn’t realize it was all online and free. And after finding out it was online only, I…
Ok, page 149 of the September 2005 issue of SLAP. “Gyro Pak - Never Fall Again!” is the subject of the ad. I’m trying to figure out if this is a joke or not. Here are some reasons it may be:
1. The backpack is obviously a fake. They show a zoomed in photo of one of those cheap toy gyro/tops…
It’s not often that I get to review a skateboard product that’s a book. Skateboarders need to write more books.
Well, I haven’t read this book yet, maybe I will when I get a free copy (hint, hint) after it comes out and then I’ll actually write a review, but the idea itself is interesting, and the authors are all of…
That’s Girl Skateboards jeans, not jeans for girls who skateboard. If you’re like me and have gained 50 lbs since high school, you know how hard it is to find pants that fit without needing to leave the top two buttons un-buttoned. Well, they’ve got some left over at Crailtap and I picked me up some. They’re already sort of…
Ok, we’re getting ready to print Sublimited shop decks at some point in the near future. Which design do you like the best and why?

Whether you just bought your first board, you’re a parent who’s trying to help your kid who’s just getting started skateboarding, or you’ve already been skateboarding for a few years, there’s one video you should get and it’s Starting Point 3 from Transworld Skateboarding Magazine.
Hey, guess what I got today, the July 2005 issue of The Skateboard Mag. I gotta say these guys print the best skateboard mag around, even if you’re a blind person. What I mean is that it’s put together well. The paper is thick and feels good, the cover doesn’t fall off, etc. The thing is made to last longer…
Finally! Just got my first issue of SLAP Magazine after waiting for about two months after subscribing. I think I missed out on the t-shirt offer too, how’d that happen?
Anyway, this issue has Dustin Dollin on the cover. And guess what?! No Taco Bell or deodorant ads! Congrats SLAP on keepin’ it real.
Q: If you could change one thing about the current state of skateboarding, what would it be?
A: I would have skate companies owned by skaters again.
Brian Lotti interviewing Shiloh Greathouse in the July 2005 issue of Transworld Skateboarding Magazine.
To me, this is the highlight of the entire issue for one reason–this is exactly what Sublimited is all about. I got…
Chances are you haven’t heard of Binary Skateboards yet. They’re based in Utah, they’re only a year old, and they don’t have website yet, because Brock is too busy and won’t get back to me so that I can design it. But all in good time, and then I can actually link this post to their stuff.
Sean over at Binary…
Ok, we’ve got three potential Sublimited t-shirt designs. Here’s one, check out the complete entry for the other two and let me know your thoughts.
Hey, my first issue of Thrasher. Man, I don’t think I’ve had a subscription to Thrasher since around ‘93 or so. My favorite page in a Thrasher ever was the poem about the knight and the giant hamburger. If anyone has that poem send it on over.
Do you remember where you were when you realized that there are skaters out…
This is the type of post that is virtually meaningless, but interesting to a select few out there, I’m sure. I subscribed to all the skate magazines (The Skateboard Mag, Transworld, SLAP, Thrasher, Skateboarder) on pretty much the same day, but I’ve received my first issues at varying times. Here’s how it went down.
Go figure, I received my June issue of Skateboarder about a week ago and today I get my May issue.
Just got the June 2005 issue of Skateboarder Magazine today. Not only is this the first issue I’ve gotten since subscribing, but I’m not sure I’ve ever looked at an issue of Skateboarder Magazine–ever. Maybe once or twice in a grocery store, but I’m not sure.
Here is where we’ll post reviews of new skateboarding products and related items.
