musicSkateboarding and music go hand in hand somehow. Maybe it's just cause kids happen to like music and skateboarding at the same point in their lives. But kids like water too, and you don't see Thrasher pages and pages of content about H2o, so maybe there is something to skateboarding and music that's deeper than mere coincidence. Skateboarding and Skateboard MusicAugust 03, 2005Almost all the music I like today I first heard on a skateboard video. I started skating in the late 80's when Powell Peralta, Santa Cruz, and Vision were the big companies, and few videos were produced. Powell Peralta always used custom made music that you couldn't buy, but Santa Cruz used music from artists on the SST label. Exactly why, I don't know, but that's where my music tastes originated.
