Got the Hello Jojo free DVD with my subscription to the Skateboard Mag, issue #24, the other day. I’m not sure how to get your hands on it unless you have a subscription.
Contrary to what you might think, the promo DVD is not all about Joey Brezinski. He does have the ending part, and quite possibly the longest part, but there’s plenty of skating from other team members.
Who’s got pop? Yeah, Andrew Brophy got it. I can’t do a tre-flip up a curb, let alone over a bench from flat. This kid ollies over a large trash can standing up like it were a wastebasket, straight into a tre-flip that he makes look easy but the experience know is one of the toughest tricks out there. Then he proceeds with his part which makes other high-altitude tricks look like nothing.
How long was it? Seemed like it was a half hour or something. Probably one of the best free DVDs to come with a magazine yet, if not the best. Fairly close to being a full-length DVD. I mean, The Hot Chocolate Tour DVD sells for $20-30 and has less skating in it than this does.
And there are more coming. Thank goodness, the companies are realizing how much product they can move when they give out the DVD for free. I’m just waiting for them to start doubling up.
And the only question I have now is what did they leave in the full-length version of the video?

my local shop gave me a free hello jojo. its pretty sweet.
Yeah, they also put all those extras in it, which when i watched it all made the whole thing last about an hour.
