Blind’s What If? video has been a while in coming. The first full-length video release since I was in my prime. Even Video Days seems like yesterday to me, so I wonder what these kids today think when someone says “Yeah, the last Blind video came out 12 years ago.” Some of these kids weren’t even born yet.
Overall the video is good, although certain parts you might not watch more than once or twice while others you’ll watch 20 times.
Ronnie Creager is definitely one of the most underrated skaters of all time. Probably because it’s hard to get him to film sometimes or something. His part is worth watching a few times. Then go check out the DVD extras of Ronnie skating about 12-13 years ago and you’ll realize that this guy was better back then than most pro skaters today.
We all know Markovich can pull off some crazy stuff but I felt his part was a bit lackluster. I got the impression he just wasn’t able together a full part in time. But what’s there is decent, if short.
Jake Brown’s kickflip lipslide on the superramp is insane.
Grant Patterson has some good tech and rail stuff and wears a big shirt.
Although James Craig has good tricks it seems like he’s a little shaky on his board. Just not very stable. Seems like he’s still afraid of that gimpy knee or something.
Carlos Ruiz is insane. Worst slams, amazing hammers, that guy is just nuts.
Oh, and did you know that a full-length version of Video Days is included in the DVD extras?
If you go to special features under the second board gallery, click on Rudy’s Old English deck and go left, the little reaper will appear. Go to him and click enter and listen for the sound of a lock opening, then go back to special features and Video Days will be on the menu.

Man how could you forget Corey Sheppard’s Natas spin that was pretty insane.
