Ok, so who out there skates and wears Oakleys? In fact, do skateboarders ever wear sunglasses? I don’t, but that’s because I wear prescription glasses. But I never see anyone else wearing sunglasses. In fact, I don’t even see these guys who are sponsored wearing sunglasses–ever. Unless they’re posing for an ad.

But who cares, because this is actually a darn good video and didn’t brainwash me one bit into wearing sunglasses. In fact, when you’re watching the video you forget that it is being put out by a sunglasses company.

As far as I know, this video represents the first full part put out by Dave Bachinsky and it doesn’t fail to impress. Yeah, he can do big kickflips, but even if he had never kickflipped The Bull this guy would still be on top of things due to this part. How about a hardflip down…is that 17 stairs? I’m not sure, but it’s big and he makes it look easy. By far the best frontside 270 to backside lip down a handrail that I’ve ever seen because it’s so darn long and filmed from just the right angle.

But Bachinsky isn’t where it ends. Sheckler, Burnquist, Rune, Fabrizio, and Lutzka all put in great performances. Yeah, Chris Senn is in there too and I think he did ok. Can’t really remember too well. Sorry Senn.

The music is good, the filming is good, the editing is good, the skating is good. It’s all good. Or maybe it’s just that it was so much better than what I was expecting.

Oh yeah, some great footage of Burnquist and Glifberg at that park in China. Wow, that’s a big ollie over the channel.
